Options for Your DairyCheq MilkGuard

The DairyCheq MilkGuard™ gives the Producer a flexible platform on which to report critical conditions on the dairy farm. A number of options are available.

  1. Chemical Concentration Detection

    The DairyCheq MilkGuard can be equipped with a sensor that attaches to the pipeline wash outlet. The sensor reports the conditions of the wash water and the MilkGuard determines if the concentration of the cleaning chemicals in the water exiting the system after a clean-in-place wash was in accordance with preset levels.

  2. DHI Timer

    With a sensor attached to the vacuum line operating the milk harvesting equipment, the DairyCheq MilkGuard is able to report milking times in a DHI-approved manner.

  3. External alerting features

    Along with the audible alarm and the lights on the face of the unit itself, external alarm lights may be attached to the DairyCheq MilkGuard and installed wherever works effectively to get the attention of the Producer.

    An auto dialer may also be connected to the MilkGuard to alert the Producer to an Alarm occurring in the barn anywhere a telephone or cell phone connection is available.

  4. Information reporting

    The DairyCheq MilkGuard stores information received by its sensors for over two years, depending on the amount information being gathered.

    DairyCheq provides at no additional cost Windows-compliant software that can be loaded on a personal computer that will summarize the information stored in the MilkGuard in a graphical manner.

    The information can be transferred from the DairyCheq MilkGuard by way of

    • serial port and cable,
    • flash memory card,
    • or by using a Bluetooth serial port adaptor capable of transmitting to information up to 30 metrer or 100 feet away, depending on barn configuration, to a similarly-equipped Bluetooth device.
  5. Languages

    The DairyCheq MilkGuard is currently available in English, French and Dutch language versions.
