NEW - See the highlights from a University of Guelph study about the effectiveness of the MilkGuard. Combining proven performance, award-winning technology, straightforward installation, accessible service and economical cost, we believe the DairyCheq MilkGuard™ is the ultimate solution for Producers wanting to ensure their dairy farms are profitable. The DairyCheq MilkGuard monitors: - Raw milk conditions in the bulk tank
- Pipe line wash
- Bulk Tank wash
- Chemical concentration in the wash
- And is an approved DHI timer as well
The DairyCheq MilkGuard: - Is the only electronic time and temperature recorder built exclusively for dairy farms.
- Detecting and monitoring each tank of milk, the DairyCheq MilkGuard self-assesses and quickly informs the Producer of any condition that may go out of compliance with pre-set criteria. For example, if the Producer wishes to ensure that milk from a second or later milking blend temperature in the bulk tank does not exceed a pre-determined temperature, the Dairy Cheq MilkGuard can be set to monitor and alert the Producer to the condition of the raw milk in the bulk tank.
- The Producer can set "Producer" alarms as well as "Regulatory" alarms. This feature allows the Producer to be alerted to conditions in the bulk tank and address the issue before the condition of the raw milk exceeds regulatory boundaries.
- Saves time for Producers by requiring minimal effort to determine equipment status.
- The Dairy Cheq MilkGuard provides alarm features that report the right information up front.
- The alarm lights on the face of the MilkGuard give s the Producer status of the system at glance.
- Read the information display and receive summarized information about the temperatures
- Press the information button and scroll through the details of the various system information.
- An audible alarm will provide the producer with immediate feedback on a system condition. Forgot to turn on the bulk tank cooling before milking? The DairyCheq MilkGuard will provide an audible alarm to draw attention to the Producer that raw milk is not being cooled.
- Additional external alarm lights are also available to provide a visual alert whether in or outside of the barn.
- Installs and operates independently of other farm systems, ensuring hassle-free maintenance and minimal cost to install.
- The DairyCheq MilkGuard can be installed on ANY bulk tank.
- The DairyCheq MilkGuard and its sensors are designed and installed with no interconnections to other parts of the milk harvesting and cooling systems.
- Based on temperatures reported by the sensors attached to the bulk tank, the DairyCheq MilkGuard software determines the current system status and condition of the raw milk.
- Other sensors placed on vacuum lines, milk lines and wash lines can be attached to the MilkGuard and thereby the MilkGuard can report on milking times, pipeline washes and chemical concentration in washes.
- If a service technician services other farm systems, the Dairy Cheq MilkGuard continues to monitor your system uninterrupted.
- Provides correct information at the optimum time without false alarms
- Cooling systems typically operate behind the scenes and problems and go undetected until it's too late. With the Dairy Cheq MilkGuard, cooling system performance moves front and centre, where the Producer can get the information. DairyCheq MilkGuard alarming functions direct the Producer's attention to the issue at hand. It's possible that an alarm indicates a piece of equipment needs service or a condensing unit wasn't turned on. These are significant alarms and the Dairy Cheq MilkGuard is configured to get the Producer's attention only when it's the right time.
- Comes with a 20-year track record of performance
- The DairyCheq MilkGuard is adapted from the Meko MilkGuard that has been in use in Holland for over 20 years. Over 35 million litres of milk are being monitored by the MilkGuard every day!
- More than 20,000 dairy farms are currently using MilkGuards
