Frequently-Asked Questions

What is a Regulatory alarm?

DairyCheq refers to a regulatory alarm as a condition detected by the DairyCheq MilkGuard that is out of compliance with the Producer's locally-determined guidelines for storing raw milk and cleaning. Those guidelines may be set by local cooperatives or governmental authorities. Being outside these quidelines may result in a rejected bulk tank of milk.

The DairyCheq MilkGuard comes with factory-set regulatory parameters that are set to the Canada Quality Milk program.

The Producer can reset the regulatory parameters in the unit to the local guidelines.

What is a Producer alarm?

DairyCheq referes to a producer alarm as a condition detected by the Dairy Cheq MilkGuard that is not yet out of compliance regulations. The Producer alarm is set to allow enough time for the Producer to investigate the alarm and take corrective action before the conditions detected exceed regulatory boundaries.

The DairyCheq MilkGuard comes with factory-set Producer settings that are set within the guidelines of the Canada Quality Milk program.

The Producer can reset the Producer parameters in the unit to their own management requirements.
